To be a high quality international centre of learning and research
in the disciplines of Surveying and Spatial Information Systems.
Our Goals
- To foster a pleasant, stimulating and rewarding learning environment
for staff and students.
- To focus and refine the undergraduate and postgraduate courses,
to achieve high quality programs that are relevant to the present
and future needs of industry and society.
- To develop viable postgraduate programs, using alternative
forms of delivery.
- To achieve a consistent enrolment of high quality undergraduate
and postgraduate students.
- To target and support high quality research projects consistent
with the School's expertise, and the present and future needs
of society.
- To further develop rewarding and mutually beneficial research
links with industry.
- To expand high level international research and education
links.
- To provide relevant and viable continuing education programs
to industry.
- To maintain effective dialogue and interaction with professional
and learned bodies, and the wider commuinity.
