Description

This is an attachment for Hewlett-Packatd distance meters HP 3805A and HP 3800B (see Cat. Nos. 0404 & 0405). It was used to measure the vertical angle of an EDM line of sight (for later readuction of the measured 'slope' distance to horizointal.

The circle is graduated from -45 degrees to + 45 degrees, with a least count of 20 minutes of arc. Reading on the vernier to 0.1 minute of arc.
