Description |
This micrometer theodolite by Carl Bamberg comprises of two diagonally opposite 'Ramsden' microscopes for reading of the horizontal circle which is located at the base. It is categorised as a 2nd order theodolite featuring a horizontal circle diameter of 210 mm and graduated every 5 minutes from 0º to 360º. Due to the absence of a vertical circle, the theodolite is generally used for measuring horizontal angles for second order triangulation networks. |
