Program Assumed Knowledge
Engineering programs have a level of Assumed Knowledge (i.e.
a level of knowledge of specific high school subject areas considered
desirable for successful university-level study). A competency
in mathematics and science will be assumed for all Engineering
programs, equivalent to HSC Maths Extension One and Physics
and/or Chemistry. Students without assumed knowledge are
not prevented from enrolling, but may be at a considerable disadvantage
and should consider a bridging program or other appropriate preparation
before enrolling.

Knowledge Policy" ...
Further information on available bridging courses may be obtained
from the UAC guide or by calling the Admissions Office on 1300
