RTA Scholarship

• $15,250 pa
• Up to 4 years, subject to satisfactory progress.

The RTA scholarships have been established to encourage students to undertake studies in the School Surveying & Spatial Information Systems, and approved industrial training at the RTA. Applicants must be currently undertaking the HSC (or equivalent) and proposing to undertake the Bachelor of Engineering in Surveying & Spatial Information Systems at UNSW.

Applications and selection process (via an interview) are handled in a similar manner to the UNSW Co-op scholarships.

Recipients will be required to undertake a total of 30 weeks of Industrial Training on RTA approved projects, completed in 10 week blocks over the vacation period at the end of years 1, 2 and 3. Selection will be based on academic merit, reasons for undertaking the proposed study, demonstrated ability, and leadership qualities.
