6.3.2 GPS Observation Modelling

ELIMINATING GPS BIASES THROUGH DATA DIFFERENCING

 


As emphasised in the previous Table, the standard approach to GPS phase data processing is to construct new observables by differencing carrier beat phase observations in such a way that some or all of the clock biases are eliminated, and the impact of several other measurement biases is significantly reduced. The various differencing options are illustrated in the Figure below.
