APRIORI SITE COORDINATE :
THE TRIPLE-DIFFERENCE SOLUTION



Often a preliminary triple-difference solution is performed to obtain the baseline solutions that form the basis for the subsequent cycle slip editing step, as well as to provide good quality apriori coordinates for the final double-difference solution.

Such solutions are tolerant to cycle slips in the data (slips appear as isolated "outliers", see Figure 1 section 7.3.5 and the Table in section 6.3.7).

Triple-difference solutions are discussed further in section 8.1.3.
