M.Phil., University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, 2007.

Research Project:

The Locata positioning technology uses a network of terrestrial based signal transmitters ("pseudolite" or "LocataLites") to provide ubiquitous positioning (indoors and outdoors) in difficult environments. As a PhD student, my role will be to realize this network. This realization will include development of algorithms and methodologies for autonomous installation of a LocataNet. It will also include proposal of network topologies and protocols for communication, operation, autonomous expansion and ad-hoc deployment of the network.
