B.S. (Computer Science), University of Karachi, Karachi, Pakistan, 2001.

M.Eng.Sc. (Computer Science & Engineering), The University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, 2004.

Research Project:

Currently working on an industrial project sponsored by OMNILINK Pty. Ltd related to GIS Metadata. I am also looking at location based services (LBS) and hoping to formulate a problem involving LBS and ITS for my PhD thesis.

Research Interests:

  • GIS metadata.
  • Location based services.
  • Intelligent Transport Services.
  • Transport Telematics.

Professional Experience:

  • Worked for ITIM Associates (Pvt) Ltd, as a Software Engineer from Feb 2001- Feb 2003.
  • Worked as a Teaching Assistant for Usman Institute of Technology, Hamdard University, Pakistan from Jun-Sep 2000.

Computing Expertise:

  • Programming in Java, C++, Visual Basic.
  • Web based design and development.
  • Database modelling and development.
