Education:

B.E. (Surveying & SIS), The University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, 2003.

B.Sc. (Mathematics), University of Sydney, Sydney, Australia, 1985.

Background/Experience:

Managed the Computer Music Lab for the Department of Music, at the University of Sydney.

Worked at the Acoustics Lab at the Department of Architecture & Design Science, University of Sydney.

Interests:

Cycling, bushwalking, camping, sailing, music, travel, environmental issues.

Projects:

Development of the "Namuru" FPGA GNSS research receiver

Collaborating with Nortel Labs, Wollongong, on various projects dealing with the testing of AGPS-enabled mobilephones.

Hardware/software integration of GPS-based deformation monitoring system, in collaboration with GPSatSystems Pty Ltd, Melbourne.

Porting of the GPS Architect code (Mitel) from GP2021-based GPS receiver to Sigtec GP4020-based GPS receiver.

Porting the GPS Architect software to the Namuru receiver

Porting the Open Source GPS software to the Namuru receiver

GPS/INS integration project under the CRC1.3

Radio Frequency Interference project under the CRC1.1
