Research Project:

"I've been working on the acquisition and tracking of the L2C signal. The L2C is a modernized GPS signal broadcast by new generation of satellites, designated Block IIR-M. The structure of the L2C signal is designed such that it can provide a number of advantages over the L1 signal. The new signal structure however, demands novel acquisition and tracking techniques. I am investigating into developing such techniques that exploit the new code structure and then implement those on the FPGA platform".
