Education:

B.E. (Surveying & SIS), The University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, 2003.

Ph.D., The University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, 2007.

Interests:

My personal interests are mostly outdoor activities. These activities include Camping and Bushwalking, Soccer, Cricket, Water Skiing and Snowboarding. I also enjoy music, playing the bass guitar and reading.

President of the Surveying & Spatial Information Systems Postgraduate Society.

Member of the Annual Research Seminars Organising Committee (Marketing).

Current Research:

Steve is currently investigating and developing a reliable quality control system that can be adapted to an integrated navigation system for Spatial Information Collection. His research involves simulated and experimental studies of the GPS, GLONASS and Galileo satellite navigation systems, Inertial Navigation Systems (INS) and augmentation.

Research areas:

a. GPS/GLONASS/Galileo Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitoring (RAIM).
b. GNSS/INS Integrity Monitoring.
