• Taste of Summer Research Scholarship Program 2006/2007 - School of Surveying and Spatial Information Systems, UNSW - "Open Source Software Development for UNSW FPGA-based GPS Receiver"
  The core of the work entails porting existing open source GPS firmware to a Nios II soft core processor running on an Altera FPGA chip on the Namuru circuit board. The open source GPL-GPS was modified and ported into the Namuru GNSS platform along with open source real time operating system ÔeCosÕ.
• B.Sc., Honours Year Thesis Project - School of Computer Science and Engineering, UNSW - "Implementing processor cores on a FPGA"
  Design an application specific processor by using the NiosII soft-core based SOPC platform (Altera FPGA) to accelerate computational intensive software. JPEG software was used as a reference application to expose how efficiently and rapidly prototyped via hardware/software co-design and accelerated hardware simulation.

• Programming with Java, C/C++, Perl and VHDL
• Interest in digital system design : AVR, NiosII, FPGA
• Familiar with image processing : JPEG, MPEG, Video coding
• Major in e-commerce Eng. : J2EE, JSP, JDBC, XML, Web service
