GPS and L-commerce; Grid Computing, WLAN (IEEE 802.11b) positioning system.

GPS projects in China have included:
GPS signal decoding, funded by the Dept. of Geodesy, Wuhan Technical University of Surveying & Mapping,1992.
Geophysical Explanation of Tai Lake Using Marine GPS Kinematic Positioning, under the grant of Bureau of Geophysical Prospecting, China National Petroleum Corporation, BGP CNPC,1993;
Geophysical Explanation of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau Using GPS Techniques, under the grant of Bureau of Geophysical Prospecting, China National Petroleum Corporation, BGP CNPC,1996.
Theory and Application of Wide Area Differential GPS Surveying, funded by the Research Committee of the Institute of Modern Geodesy, Chinese Academy of Surveying & Mapping, CASM1995.
Crustal Deformation Monitoring By High Precise GPS Surveying in Sichuan and Yunnan Province, funded by National Research Foundation for Surveying & Mapping, Bureau of Surveying & Mapping P.R.China,1997.
GPS/GLONASS Integrated Positioning System, funded by the Beijing Office of Trimble Navigation 1997.
Theory and Application of Real Time Kinematic GPS Surveying, funded by the Beijing office of Trimble Navigation 1997.
GPS&GIS Aided Emergency Response System, funded by the 3S Technical Company, Peninsula Group, ShenZhen City GuangDong Province, P.R. China,1998.

From July 1998 GIS has been my focus Ð e.g. Internet GIS, 3D Visualization and Virtual Reality; GIS Applications for Urban/Environmental Planning and Management, etc.

GIS-related projects in China have included:
The Establishment of the Chinese ÒDigital EarthÓ Website, funded by the ÒOne Hundred Elites PlanÓ Foundation, Chinese Academy of Sciences,1998.
